David Kazdan, MD, PhD is an electrical engineering professor at Case Western Reserve University, where he teaches and does research in electronics, radio, and wave phenomena. He has taught acoustics and musical acoustics there. Professor Kazdan is an amateur musician and is interested in the physics of music and of sound electronics such as microphones, speakers, and stereo recording techniques. He is also interested in the physiology of sound and pitch perception.
